I went to the doc complaining of arch pain, heel pain, and ankle pain. X-rays showed that I had a large bone spur in between the talus and tibia in the front of my ankle. I had one surgery to remove the bone spur. 5 months later, I had the Evans Calcaneal with a bone graft and a Gastroc. Recession to correct my arch. During post op my doc saw that the hardware in the Evans was shifting and causing an impingement. I also lost most of the arch that was created. Within 6 months after that i had a hammertoe corrective surgery to correct the 2nd and 3rd digit. Now I am about 2 months out of that surgery and he is suggesting a Cotton Osteotomy and also adjusting the hardware from the Evans. Is this normal to have so many surgeries? Or to have a Cotton Osteotomy to correct a previous Osteotomy? All of the surgeries have been performed within a year, how long will it take for me to run again?

It hurts if I move it, touch it, and specifically if I touch the area around my toe (like where the toe connects to the foot). I don’t know what is wrong but I can’t take the pain. Could the stitches have gone too deep? Could it be nerve damage?

I was wondering if there is a surgery procedure that will stretch my heel cord. Im 16 and i have CP, which has really affected my legs. My heel cord is so tight that, when i walk, i walk on the outside part of my foot, and i often roll my ankle when just walking. I will be getting surgery soon to fix hammertoes and was thinking that they could fix my heel cord at the same time. If there is a surgery that will fix my heel cord, can you put a link that explains the surgery so i can talk to my doctor about it? If you need any more information, ill answer any questions. Thanks
