Do detox pads for the feet really work. My mom has bought some "detox foot pads".?

These foot pads contain Tourmaline which is suppose to draw negative ions out of the body. Has any one used these or checked them out to see if they really work?

I'd like to hear some personal stories about the ion foot cleanse. Anyone else try it?

I've tried it as well as the foot detox pads - seems like somthing was happening and I know there is a lot of conflicting info about their efficacy (always is about alternative methods). I'd like to hear other personal experiances - What do you think? Any home products that would work as well(?) as the expensive units?

Has anyone tried the detox foot pads that you wear overnight to get rid of toxins in the body? They have them at Wal-greens and CVS, but they aren't exactly cheap. Just wondering if they really work before I go out and buy some.....
