    If it’s surgery in a hospital or surgical center, then yes. You must wear a hospital gown.

    Usually no. You just have to remove your socks and shoes. However, it’s best to wear something that will not create problems later, like trying to take off tight jeans over a cast or bandages on your foot.

    If your toenail removal is done in the foot doctor’s office—you don’t remove your clothes—just shoes and socks. It can easily be done under a local. No need for the expense of a surgical center (unless your Dr thinks it is necessary).
    Agree with the statement to wear loose jeans, etc.
