A friend of mine has nail fungus on his big toe, at one time it fell off! He walks around with sandals, and I hate it! He said he tried everything and nothing works...I'm not sure if that's true, can you help me help him? thanks

Those Over the Counter medicines never really cure a Toenail Infection or Fungus. Hes going to have to see a doctor (Podiatrist) to recieve a Prescription Strength medication. Its probably going to be a few months of an oral antibiotic and a daily topical treatment. He has to follow the regimine completely-however rigorous it may be.The doctor will do a scrap test to culture the bacteria thats growing in his toenail bed. If neccessary, they will perform surgery to remove a stubborn bacteria, but thats rarely the case.
