need natural cure (herbal or otherwise) for toenail fungus. My mom is on kidney dialysis and recently had a h

heart attack.

While visiting her, I noticed she has discusting toenail fungus. She said the doctors told her, she is too ill to take the drug necessary to fix it.

I know it is hard to cure, but am a big believer in alternative health and I know the health of the feet affects the whole body.
She generaly won't do my suggestions but since this can be external or a soak, she is open to it (I think I can also convicnce her to use internal herbal or alternative cures if you know any).

Please do not give me allopathethic rememedies as I am only looking for natural/alternative/or home rememdies.

Thanks..

it also looks like this fungus might have invaded her badly dented and scarred legs with ulcerated wounds that she has as a result of stepping on a landline in Italy when she was a young girl during world war 2...so it is really important she cure this.

Please help..thanks..

I have no personal experience with this but I do have a couple of testimonies stating that all natural Optiflora has cleared up their toe and foot fungus. Now, one lady did say that after thirty days it was gone and the other lady did not indicate a timeframe. I know that often times when something is going wrong inside our bodies it will manifest itself to the surface in some form.

This is a two-product system that uses new technology to protect beneficial microflora during the rigors of shipping, storage, and the acidic journey through your stomach. Other products claim live microflora at the time of manufacture. This product guarantees the delivery of live microflora (500 million) to the intestines. This is a patented process.

This two-product system includes Probiotic (Bifidus & Acidophilus…microflora) + Prebiotic (FOS…food source for microflora).

Hope this is helpful and best wishes.

Hope your mom is doing better! I actually had this toe fungus.. I tried a ton of different herbal remedies before going to synthetic medicine.. The truth of the matter is.. that none of the herbal stuff worked… I tried the herbal stuff for 3 years. I never seen ANY improvement. I went to the DR and he prescribed Lamisil

Try pure tea-tree oil. It’s anti-fungal, antiseptic and anti-viral. Mix a drop into 1 drop of pure lavender essential oil and apply neat on affected area with a cotton-bud. Try with a small area first to see if she develops adverse reactions within 24hours. If all’s clear, apply on all areas. Lavender soothes the skin. You can add 2 drops. I can’t guarantee this will work but it’s as natural as what I can think of. It really depends on what kind of fungus she has.

What finally got rid of mine was colloidal silver solution. One teaspoon twice a day for three months. I also put tea tree oil on the nails after a thorough wash and dry. It’s a slow process, but a lot safer than Lamisil.

    ’nuff said?

There are a couple of external things you can do with foot fungus – toenail fungus is really hard to eradicate, but these are some you can try.
    1. After bathing, soak the feet in a solution of half white vinegar and half water. Soak for about 10 minutes, and then DRY the area really well – a blow-dryer works really well to get all the little spaces dry.
    2. Tea tree oil is available at health food stores, and it is perhaps the most effective anti-fungal herbal remedy I know of. It should be applied to the base of the affected nails – as close to the cuticle as possible.

Fungus does not grow well in acid environments – and this is why the vinegar cure is so effective. Fungus also need moisture to grow – and that is why a blow-dryer can really help! Tea tree oil can be toxic if there are abraded areas or open sores, so follow the directions very carefully.

Vicks vaporub. … I went to the dermatologist with the same problem. He prescribed a topical medicine(which you’re not intrested in) & also told me to rub Vick’s on my toenail… My pedicurist also told me about the Vicks.

I’ve also read that soaking your toes in Listerine (only the brown kind) will help or cure the fungus.

I really feel I need to talk to you about an alternative medicine with medical validation. It is a fruit that was featured in Time magazine in July as the breakthrough superfruit of the century. It is full of phytonutrients, flavenoids and polysaccharides that can rapidly turn your blood from acidic to alkaline. It is an adaptogen so it removes free radicals, bacteria, fungus, acid and inflammation, all contributors to heart failure. It is perfectly safe to take even for expectant mothers and babies, but the healing effects are nothing short of amazing.
Please contact me so I can give you more information.
