Yes my other half used to use that then we found out it is the tea tree oil in the vicks that does it so now she just buys the tea tree oil and it seems to work better. Can get it at most pharmacys
Toenail fungus is nothing to mess with… Some things can make it worse!
The fungus embeds itself below the nail and although the Tea Tree oil will irritate it, it doesn't always kill it.
Soak your feet in a diluted, mild, mixture of bleach and water as per your doctors instructions. That is what any Dermatologist will tell you to do. If that doesn't work, you then need to have a culture taken where they cut off a portion of the nail and put it in a vial with some gel like stuff and if it grows a fungus then they treat you with a fungicide internally. and that truly is the only way to kill it…
Careful what you soak your feet in-it will end up in your mouth.Don't believe me? Soak your feet in salt water and see how fast you taste it in your mouth! Feet are great sponges that expedite many chemicals into your bloodstream just like placing a vitamin under your tounge. Fungus will die and dissapate in sunny ,dry, arid conditions as will ticks. Blow dry your feet after a shower and stay open toed as much as you can. Keep your nails short and disinfect the clippers after each trimming.
I've heard of it,but have never tried it. I was also told you could soak your feet in distilled vinegar, and it would do the same thing!
I have tried everything including tea tree oil – nothing has worked
I've done the vicks treatment and it works. I tried oral meds and salves. I had the fungus 3 years and now it's gone!!!
