Why do I have so much pain on the side of my foot?

Everytime i wear any shoe wat-so-ever, the most unbearable pain occurs until I take it off. It is only on my right foot, and when i look, it is a bone sticking out of my foot, it is on the side where my pinkey is, and it just hurts so much. Im 15, so I have to sit and wince every 5 minutes during school. Also, I am very much involved in sports, so im going non-stop. What is this?

I think you and me have the same problem. Mine is on the inside of my foot the a bone is sticking out. I cant wear any old shoe I have to wear gym shoes. The bone in my foot is growing the opposite direction then it was supposed to. The pain I have seems not as bad as yours, that cause I dont exercise alot. Tell your mom or dad that you need to see a foot doctor. They can help. I have orthodics in my shoes (inserts) and they dont help, its because my bone has shifted to far out of place. This may have already happened to you. One thing I can suggest you to do is take a foot bath with epsences salt. This helps me and my feet dont hurt as bad during school. Hope I could help.
