Why is everyone in today’s society so quick to jump to surgery. There are many non-surgical options that you can use to treat your symptoms and very often make a full recovery. Often cortisone injections are used which can give some relief. These are often used in conjunction with a referral to a Physical Therapist. A PT would address any impairments that you had that are contributing to your symptoms as it is often a biomechanical issue that will cause your symptoms in the first place. Orthotics are sometimes used to assist in controlling any abnormal biomechanics. A PT can cast you for them.
