Staying at home will cause flat feet?

I’m a new stay at home mom – I like to go barefoot in the house – but now I am home all the time! Will this make my feet flat? (Flatter than pregnancy already has?!) Is it unhealthy to go all day barefoot?

No, it’s very healthy and good for your feet and the whole body.

im a new stay at home mom too. i try to keep myself busy though. cause i cant sit in one place for a long time. i havent experienced anything wrong with the flatness of my feet. they are the same as they were preg-pregnancy. i would maybe wear shoes sometimes. i dont know about the barefoot thing.

I would recommend keeping a clean pair of shoes on for some of the time while you’re at home. I do not recommend walking barefoot all the time.

it’s far healthier to go barefoot than to wear any shoes you can buy.
    No doubt about it.

You won’t get flat feet, that’s a myth. In fact flat feet are caused by wearing incorrect footwear (which is pretty much all footwear), not by wearing no footwear at all.

Over a billion people never wear shoes. They have some of the healthiest feet and backs of all people.
And people who wear fashion shoes generally have the worst feet of all, next to athletes wearing special shoes for their sports with all the expensive (and totally counterproductive) arch support and other idiocy.
