Myth about Bunion Surgery?

Hey, all! This is my first post (insignificant addition), and I want to know whether something my parents belive is a myth or not. Here goes:
True or False:
After Bunion surgery, (or any constructive foot surgery) the patient forever walks with a limp, or, they are unable to walk normal ever again.
Your serious answers will be so appreciated!
Thank you!

I have had bunion surgery on both feet, and I walk fine, no limp, it is a myth

It’s TOTALLY A ‘MYTH’ … generally, ‘foot surgery’ can STOP people from limping … not ‘start it’ … and that is ANY FOOT SURGERY.

    a bunion surgery, highly unlikely
if you broke your ankle really bad and you need surgery then I would say yes.
Knee surgery’s, hips, or any broken bones in the leg all these are total 100% recovery.

The point of the surgery IS to walk better. The problem that most people encounter is the post-operative period of about a month where they need to stay OFF the foot that was operated on. After healing, the improvement shows.
