I had surgery to fix my feet back in March and April of last year. I now have intense itching where he shaved the bone and put the dissovable pin in, the doctor has no idea why it itches and he's given me a few creams that haven't worked. I scratch it so much that it bleeds sometimes
Has this happened to anyone else?
What can I do to help with the itching?
Is it just because it's healing although it's been almost a year since I had the surgery?
Yes, it's possible that this could still be related to healing from the surgery but it also sounds like something else is going on. I would recommend consulting your primary care physician as well to have them evaluate the situation further to see what they think could be going on.
