I just scratched my foot on a sharp corner. How can I lessen the pain?

I was walking and happened to scratch my foot on a sharp corner. It bled a little, and its not a huge cut. I put pressure on it to stop the blood, but it really stings. I can’t even walk on it.

Anyway I can stop this? Or will I have to wait til the pain dies down?

Also, how come whenever I cut something accidently my veins pop out?

My best suggestion is to first take a bath and make sure there is not dirt in it and then put an ice pack on it and lay down and relax! (the vain thing is because you are damaging the vain i think)
