ask your PT….. ussualy braces are prescribed for chronic use as they can lead to muscle weakness and tendon shortening which will cause more pain and problems.
Most times, a night brace is used to keep it stretched during sleep but in the water, you shouldn’t need your foot to be stretched in that position.
Whatever the case, it’s a good idea to talk to your physical therapist about the situation or consult with a podiatrist. They might need to work on helping your feet stretch more but it isnt likely that you need a brace for all times.
why do u need it in H20?
really plantar f. can only be cured by allowing it to heal by resting it. Ways to prevent it once it is better is to get orthodontics, to stretch your foot, and to message out the scar tissue from ur current injury so that the fascia’s connective tissue fibres return to their natural allignment
