if you're a diabetic, get your sugars controlled. Cymbalta is a new drug for diabetic neuropathy.

I have been prescribed Neurotin for neuropathy in the past. It seems to help a little but with some patients it causes as a side effect depression in some to the point of trying suicide.

Tab Amitryptilline 25 mg at bedtime(no walking around after that, no driving because u might feel dizziness)
Cap Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg one daily for 3-6 months at least

Efexor is another medication you can discuss with your doctor.

Rx for Lyrica which is the latest pain medication for neuropathy. I take it with considerable success, especially at night when the pain is at its greatest. Also try to find a neurologist who understands the condition.

In addition try neuropathy.org which is the web site for The Neuropathy Association in New York City. Much helpful information there.
