How to get rid of a corn on your foot?

i have had this corn on my right big toe for about a year now, i have tried the pads to get it off but they don’t work, what should i do? Should i go get it frozen off by the doctor like my wart when i was younger? Thanks
I am 16 years old and i believe it was from my shoe being too small rubbing up against my big toe.

  1. Screech Owl says:

If it’s really a corn, it’s due to excessive pressure on that area of the skin (from outside by the shoe or from inside by arthritic bone growth assuming you’re over 40, or odd position of the toes).

Get a nail file and file it down. It will come back if the same environment is present but using a felt or other protection will minimize this.
