		<description>The only real cure is surgical removal. In the meantime, try antiinflammatories such as ibuprofen. Taping it does not really help</description>

		<description>The only cure is not surgical removal.  That is the last option. The spur is not the source of your pain it is the soft tissue around the spur.

Use 2 or 3 inch tape that doeasn&#039;t stretch. Hold the tape like a stirrup and pull it up into your arch tightly and up the sides of your foot.  Repeat with 2 more overlapping pieces.  Wear shoes with an arch support.
