How can you tell your foot has a corn on it?

For the last couple of years I think my feet look a little abnormal. The problem was that I used to walk on my tippy toes when I was little. My toes then got dark spots and so did my ankles and the don’t go away. Aside from that I have these bulbous shaped bumps on my pinky toes that don’t go away. I’m not sure if they are corns or what and I don’t know what i need to make them go away. My mom says I would have to get surgery on them for them to go away. Is there another waty for them to go away without surgery? I get very self concious of my feet. what should I do?

This is a doctor question. Google feet corn and compare the picture to your foot. See a pediatrist.

A corn would seem like dead dried skin. Which you don’t really feel the pain but can be annoying at time. Don’t try to cut them off cause eventually it’ll grow back. You don’t need surgery to get rid of the corn. You just need to take off the "root". Go to a pharmacy and ask for something with salicylic acid. It sorts of burn up that part of skin but you wont really feel the pain. After it’s burnt, you peel off the skin, eventually the roots will come out after a few attempt… Apply vitamin E or lotion to soften the skin when the corn is gone.
