I had a family member who had this problem, it can be very painful from what I've been told - you need to see a specialist who can make you special arches to wear in your shoes that will help fix your feet. They may be called aquatics I'm not sure, I just know you need to see a special doctor who can mold them for your feet. It can be kind of expensive if you have no insurance but another quick fix option in the mean time could be getting some of those Dr.Schoals ones for like $10 at CVS or a drugstore - they have some that are blue and squishy they may also make it more comfortable for you to walk.

I believe you mean orthotics. Orthotics don't do anything in correcting your feet, they just make it more bearable to live with your condition. If you wish to correct your flat feet, that's possible. I've helped many individuals correct this condition, involving int he consistent practice of several exercises to strengthen the ligaments, tendons and muscle which sustain the arches. If you wish to learn more, email me, k.sordo@gmail.com. It's free.
