Yes, most of my family has dealt with this problem. I have worn a night splint made of hard material with velcro straps. I hated it, crazy uncomfortable and it slid around every time I moved. My mom found a version of the split from a company called Thermoskin. This soft version is much more comfortable and I found them very helpful. You wear them like socks and they have straps to put your foot in the correct position. Not that the pain disappeared but it definitely decreased with regular use of the Thermoskin. I think the website is thermoskin.com. This may or may not pertain to you but losing weight usually helps a lot too. good luck – I know the pain is horrible !
cortisone injections help big time,if you ignore it , it gets worse , some Dr’s. don`t like to inject cortisone ,but get one that will ,you will not look back ,as you are experiencing , the pain is Intense , they either form on the back of the heel or on the underside of the heel, it is a calcium lump ,and when xrayed can be seen easily, the cortisone dissolved the spur , some people get them down the spine ,big problem
