Do bunions cause problems with entire foot?

I have bunions and sometimes they cause a little pain at the site. I do a lot of walking in the summer for exercise. This is the second summer where I have some sort of foot injury. I cant put a lot of weight on foot. It hurts at arch, ankle, and outer foot. Are bunions leading to these other problems? Its almost like a strained a muscle or its a nerve pinching.

You bet. You shift the weight onto other parts of the foot.

You might have a bone spur. These are common in the foot. You can be helped to determine this by visiting http://www.bonespur.com
