Ok, so my foot started to really hurt today. Its the top of my foot and the pain is kind of hard to explain. Everytime I step on my left foot it feels like some one is punching me in the top of the foot. But it hurts when i touch it as well, or like when i wear shoes. there is no escaping the pain. I didnt bump it or drop anything on it, it just sort of happened. Any ideas as to what might be the problem?
It’s probably a pulled or strained muscle, but you’ll still want to go to the doctor to make sure you don’t have a torn ligament or hair-line fracture.
It sounds like you injured the muscle on the top of your foot, maybe you slept in an awkward position and cramped it. Take some pain killers and when it starts to feel better, sit in a chair and lift up your foot and swivel it at the ankle.
