you seem young to have a bunion already! But, as to your question, the surgery is suppose to be a fairly painful procedure to recover from. My aunt had it done. I’m not sure what her total healing time was, but I’m sure once you’re healed you will be able to play sports. I’m not sure if they put you to sleep or just do a block, which would just numb your foot area. Ask your surgeon these questions next time you see him.
