which is a tumor in his brain right behind his eye and right next to his ear, he has gotten every treatment possible to avoid surgery and still minimize the tumor and get rid of it, well all of the treatments have not worked on him and the best and only way to get rid of it would be surgery but when a person with this kind of tumor gets surgery it is really common that one of the sides of his face would get paralyzed, now my question is,.
will his face be paralyzed forever or will it come back to normal? and what other things can happen to him as an effect of having surgery? also if anyone knows of someone who has had this done or a doctor that would really help please give information.
thank you ![]()
you are so sweet and your dad is lucky to have you. Unfortunately I don’t think you are going to find the answer here. I don’t think doctors participate in yahoo answers but I think there are web sites that you can write to and maybe even chat with on this serious matter. try to google it and see what happens. Or ask your dad if you can tag along with him the next time he goes, doctors are usually happy to explain things to patients loved ones. and if not maybe a social worker in the hospital can answer your questions. Lots of love to your dad, you and your family.
