i have a major phobia of being in pain and i’m terrified about having this surgery! the doctor said they’ll cut a tendon on top of my foot and put pins in for a month to straighten it. i’m wondering how much the actual surgery hurts and when they take out the pins? and also is it worth it in the end?
well i have never had it done, but im sure they will put you to sleep while you have the surgery, and when they take out the pins. Of course it will hurt while you heal and stuff, they will give you pain pills, just do what the doctor says and you’ll be fine
I’m sorry to hear that they are going to do surgery for that. I helped a woman with hammertoe and did it without surgery, just releasing the tendons that got tight.
