Do you mean the ones where you put your feet in water and the water goes brown and sludgy? They don’t remove anything from your body -it is a myth. Apart from the fact that it’s not biologically possible to extract toxins through your feet (!) it has been proven that the brown colour comes from the electrodes (basically rust). This is why the people using it have to put salt in the water (to cause a chemical reaction at the electrodes – the reaction also releases chlorine which gives a kind of ‘chemical’ smell) and why they have to replace the electrode occasionally. I know a woman who has one of these baths and she happily admits it’s a fraud – she just uses it to make money.
