Personally I think your money might be better spent on epsom salts in the bath alongside drinking filtered water and taking cleansing herbs such as Milk Thistle and Dandelion and Nettle teas. Epsom salts would have an whole body detoxing effect. Skin brushing can also help improve lymphatic drainage to help further with detoxing.

Are you just after points and so desperate to keep your tc badge? Until science proves one way or the other whether foot detox pads work or not you should at least keep an open mind. Got anything against epsom salts? Go and do your research: they are a known tried and tested old-fashioned remedy that actually works. Have a problem with herbs too do you? Are you employed by a rival company or something that you are so desperate to diss foot pads outright? I have no idea whether there is any scientific evidence as yet to suggest they work or not and until then I will at least not totaly disprove them.

For your information Mr opus: toxins are released from sweat glands and there are 250,000 sweat glands in the feet alone.
So potentially the feet could be targetted for hyper-removal of toxins from the body. Of course if you are going to continually expose yourself to toxins in the food you eat and your home environment (cigarettes for example) then you might never really remove more than you ingest/take in through airways or others ways of exposure. Toxin accumulation is so complex because metabolites from digestion and break down of endogenous molecules (such as hormones) and exogenous chemicals in the body adds to the toxic pool. Fat cells are a major store of toxins in the body. Dieting often releases these toxins explaining why we often feel below par when dieting.
