Stretching the achilles tendon?

i am assuming that it is in fact my achilles tendon that is bothering me. It gets sore about 2 miles into my run. The bottom part of my calf (towards the ankle). What are the best ways to stretch it?

It’s kind of a hard place to get a good stretch, but if you pull your foot up towards you, that’s probably where you’ll feel it the most. Any calf stretch would also help. Even if you don’t feel the stretch directly in the tendon, it’s still good to stretch the muscle it’s attached to.
You could also try putting ice on it and massaging it to help with the soreness.
