if you were to cut both your achilles tendon would you fall backward or forward?

i know if you were to cut both your achilles tendon you would definitely fall but i am not sure if you would fall backward or forward. does anyone have the answer?

    Mia, the answer to this is dependent upon which way the body’s greatest weight was distributed. Just cutting the tendons should make the person fall backward and downward. Severing the tendon would cause the knees to tend to buckle thus placing a greater proportion of the weight behind the ankles thus backwards
