I have a partial vertial tear to my Achilles tendon how long will it take to heal, I am wearing a boot?

I injury myself playing a game of full court basketball I am between 35-40 years old. I have looked on the web for a answer but without any luck, the accident happen about 2 wks ago.

    Unfortunately this a question for your doctor? If your wearing a boot I will assume you got the boot from a physician?
    In any case it can take up to 12 weeks depending on the location of the tear, the extent of the tear.
    A body's healing process is different for EVERYBODY. There is no recipe for success, every 2-4 weeks you will be reevaluated to determing the course and progress of your healing.
