I think I did something to the achilles tendon. I was going down
3 steps then it hit me a pop and then a pull. I didn’t think much of it. Then is started to hurt to walk on it. Then it started to spaze up and hurt really bad. I don’t want to go to the Dr because they look at me say R.I.C.E if yall know what this means.
Achilles tendon injuries are really common, and the R.I.C.E. (rest, ice, compression and elevation) regime is something proven to be effective. Unfortunately as with many injuries, healing can be a time consuming process, but this regime helps reduce the recovery time. I have included a link to an article on the prevention and treatment of achilles tendon injuries from this amazing site on sports injuries:

It is important to adequately treat the injury now, and to adapt a preventative strategy afterwords through stretching and exercise!
I hope this helps, and best of luck!
