Removal of an ingrown toenail/how bad will the shot hurt how bad will the procedure hurt…?

Monday, November 30th, 2009

today is saturday july 28th, on monday i have to go early in the morning for getting my ingrown toenail removed.
I left it go for a few months and dont really want to go at all, all the things I read about it make the shot sound absolutely terrible.
I have had shots in my mouth before to get teeth removed will it hurt more than that?
what can you compare the pain from the shot too? also how bad does the procedure hurt and about how long will it take?
also will i have to use crutches or will i be able to walk afterwards? please give me lots of details about the shot and pain from it and the procedure, i cant even get to sleep thinking about it.
thank you to everyone who is answering, i really appreciate it and im feelin better already =)

How to cure an ingrown toenail?

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

I just scratched my foot on a sharp corner. How can I lessen the pain?

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

I was walking and happened to scratch my foot on a sharp corner. It bled a little, and its not a huge cut. I put pressure on it to stop the blood, but it really stings. I can't even walk on it.

Anyway I can stop this? Or will I have to wait til the pain dies down?

Also, how come whenever I cut something accidently my veins pop out?

does anyone else have both patellofemoral pain syndrome and plantar fasciitis?

Bunion surgery recovery?

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

I just got my stitches out two days ago and the wound is bleeding. Not pouring blood but enough to bleed through band aids onto my jock a few drops.
The doctor said to stop doing the prescribed exercises of moving the toe back and forth, which I have stopped, but it is still bleeding.
I am have been being very careful with it, icing it and keeping it elevated.

Is this a normal? Did the Dr take the stitches out too soon. Does anyone have experience with this?

Is Neuropathy something you’re stuck with forever?

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

I have Neuropathy in my feet and fingertips as a side-effect of chemo. I ran into a friend last night who is a nurse. She says it's usually permanent. I haven't been able to see my oncologist lately because my husband became unemployed and we lost our insurance, so I haven't been able to ask a doctor. I'm only 36 and don't want my feet and fingers to have this condition forever. Any advice would help. I only went thru 6 chemo treatments and have been in remission since April. If it is perminant, please tell me how to sooth this condition because sometimes it wake me up at night.

I have a toenail fungus and going swimming tomorrow. Will chlorine in pool cause pain or any adverse effects?
