I have Planter's Facitis and went to Dr. to have blister on leg lanced. (Have alot of water and am taking 2 water pills along with other meds and insultin. Mentioned to him that my arches were really hurting from Planters. He took foot x-ray and say fractured toe. Said sign of Shock Neuropathy being Diabetic as I am. He said he hoped not a sign that I was going to have it and that we needed to try and get my toe to heal. I am now wearing a boot when I do any kind of walking or standing; I've never heard of such a thing. Any know anything about this or have any ideas? Thanks so much!! Deb

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009Hi. I have been doing some research on home remedies for toenail fungus and facial hair. For toenail fungus they recommend distilled vinegar or Vicks Vaporub...and for the facial hair, they recommend turmeric. My question is...Do you know of anyone who has tried this....does it work? Thanks for your input....my problems are literally from head to toe people, lol.

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009I hyper extended my foot and the doc thinks I tore my achilles tendon although the xrays aren't in. I see an orthopedist tomorrow. the doc offered two possible options if I did indeed tare my achilles tendon: casting vs surgery. what do you think?

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009I stepped on my sons shoe and twisted my foot yesterday. It instantly swelled up, and the pain is almost unbearable. The pain is on the side of my foot by my little toe. The pain seems to be getting worse and is constant. The pain also shoots up almost my whole leg. It even hurts as bad when I am not bearing any weight on it. I can not even let it lay on my bed or pillow or anything, that seems to make it even worse. I don't want to go in to see a doctor and find out it is just a sprain and waste my time or the doctors. Not to mention looking like a big baby. Any suggestions?
